Richi's Journey Battling Cancer And Loving Family Support Fuels Our Inspiration

On November 29, 2011, Richi, originally from Spain, was diagnosed with high-risk medulloblastoma, a highly aggressive childhood brain tumor. To receive the best possible care, his family relocated to the United States for treatment at Boston Children's Hospital | Dana Farber Cancer Institute, where they now reside.

Richi has courageously undergone 26 surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy treatments. Now 17 years old, he continues to cope with the extensive list of neurocognitive, physical, and psychological side effects resulting from his treatment.

Richi's resilience and determination serve as the inspiration for the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation.
